Survey Drafter (Office Civil 3D) Location Remote – Mexico-based candidates supporting Canadian projects Schedule Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm MST / 8:00 am – 5:00 pm MX time 8:00 am – 5:00 pm MST / 9:00 am – 6:00 pm MX time Salary & Benefits Payroll (MXN): $21,000 – $26,000 MXN + law benefits Direct/Contractor (MXN): $26,000 – $33,000 MXN net + benefits Final salary will be determined based on experience.
About the RoleWe are currently looking for a Survey CAD Technician to support the delivery of civil and industrial survey projects across Canada.
This role plays a key part in producing high-quality technical drawings, managing survey data, and supporting project execution from planning through completion.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong Civil 3D experience, survey drafting background, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities• Create detailed survey calculations and technical drawings using Civil 3D, including 3D linework, surfaces, alignments, profiles, gradings,



and corridors • Prepare design and layout files for field survey crews • Integrate survey as-built data and UAV datasets for quantity tracking and project deliverables • Track earthwork volumes and support data management and reporting • Produce as-built reports from raw survey data • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, surveyors, and internal teams • Provide field support coordination for industrial and civil survey projects • Maintain project quality standards and participate in quality control processes • Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure project success Required Qualifications• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field • 2–5 years of experience in construction survey drafting • Strong hands-on experience with Civil 3D in real project environments • Working knowledge of TBC (Trimble Business Center) • Experience supporting large civil or industrial projects • Experience working with: – As-built survey reporting – Quantity tracking and earthwork volumes – Design file creation for field crews – Survey data management workflows • Strong proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Word • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management • Excellent verbal communication skills in English?
