The Role

We’re looking for a strong Senior Software Engineer who takes pride in building beautiful, polished UIs and can do it without waiting on a designer. You have strong instincts for layout, typography, and user experience, and you know how to translate a rough idea into something that looks and feels great. This is primarily a frontend role; the focus will be on building complex, polished UIs and features. That said, full‑stack ability is a requirement. The idóneo candidate is comfortable updating API methods and contributing to full‑stack features when needed, even if the backend isn’t their primary strength.

What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain high‑quality, responsive user interfaces using Next.js and modern React patterns
- Own the visual quality of the product, design sensibility matters here




- Translate product requirements and rough wireframes into polished, production‑ready UI
- Collaborate closely with the founding team on new features, iterations, and improvements
- Contribute to backend work when needed (full‑stack experience is valued)
- Write clean, maintainable code with attention to performance and scalability

What You’ll Need

- 5+ years of experience in development with React and Next.js
- A sharp eye for design, ability to build great‑looking UIs independently, without a dedicated designer
- Solid understanding of CSS, responsive design, and component architecture, including Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui
- Full‑stack experience, comfortable updating API methods and delivering end‑to‑end features
- Experience working in fast‑paced, early‑stage environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting

Nice to Have

- Ruby on Rails experience (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with AI‑powered products or conversational interfaces
- Build dashboards, data visualizations, and impressive reporting UIs
- Experience with design tools (Figma or similar)
