Overview

CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a wholly owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack (React/UI Focus) to lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.

This role requires a highly experienced engineer who can lead technical discussions, guide problem-solving efforts across teams, and contribute hands-on to architecture, development, testing, and production support. Strong English communication skills are essential, as this position involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and mentoring team members.

The adecuado candidate combines deep frontend expertise with solid backend and cloud knowledge to deliver robust, high-quality solutions in modern distributed environments.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain advanced web-based software systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability

- Lead technical problem-solving sessions and guide team members through architectural and implementation challenges

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, DevOps, QA, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation processes

- Contribute to cloud-native deployments and containerized environments

- Ensure high code quality through unit, integration, regression, and load testing

- Participate in data analysis, troubleshooting, logging, and monitoring efforts

- Provide on-call support during designated working hours

- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices

Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience





- Proven experience designing and building enterprise-level applications

- Strong background in system design and architecture

Technical Skills

Frontend & Web Development

- 5+ years of Web Development experience

- Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript

- Experience building scalable UI architectures

Backend & Frameworks

- Strong proficiency in Java (required)

- Experience with Spring Boot

- RESTful architecture and microservices

Cloud & DevOps

- AWS (preferred)

- Kubernetes and AWS Lambda (preferred)

- CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Terraform or similar)

- Messaging technologies (Kafka, SQS)

Testing & Quality

- Test automation (Unit, Integration, Regression, Load testing)

Data & Observability

- Familiarity with relational databases

- Logging and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Splunk)

Additional Requirements

- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

- Ability to lead discussions and collaborate across distributed teams

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
