The Role

We’re looking for a Security Engineer to become a core technical pillar of Digital Keeper.

This is not a narrow role. This is a player-coach, builder-operator position . You will design, deploy, tune, break, fix, automate, investigate, and continuously improve the security systems that protect dozens of real companies.

Your mission: own our security stack and operations end-to-end , making sure customers are protected through strong engineering, intelligent detection, and world-class incident response.

You will sit at the intersection of Security Engineering and SecOps , with real ownership over both technology and outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Security Engineering & Architecture

- Own and continuously improve our core security stack (EDR/MDR, Email Security, SIEM, SOAR, MDM/RMM).
- Ensure tools are correctly deployed, deeply integrated, and finely tuned to minimize noise and maximize real-world detection and response.

Security Operations (SecOps)

- Serve as the final escalation point for alerts and incidents.
- Lead investigations, perform root cause analysis, and drive incident response efforts.

Deployment & Customer Onboarding

- Lead the technical onboarding of proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and new customers.




- Design and oversee deployments to ensure every environment is implemented according to our internal gold standards.

Policy, Hardening & Continuous Improvement

- Continuously review and evolve security configurations, detections, and policies to stay ahead of the threat landscape and aligned with best practices.

What You Bring (The "Realistic" Generalist)

- A Real-World Operator Mindset
- 3+ years in cybersecurity , ideally in a hands-on operational role.
- Strong bonus: MSP/MSSP experience (you understand the "many hats" and "many clients" workflow; you’re comfortable juggling tools, customers, and incidents).

The “Swiss Army Knife” Skillset

- You don’t need to be a master of one, you are dangerous across many.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following, and ideally working knowledge of the rest:
- Endpoint security (EPP/EDR/XDR)
- Email security platforms
- MDM, RMM, and endpoint management
- SOAR and automation workflows
- Network security fundamentals
- Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, M365)
- Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

Problem-Solving DNA

You don't need a manual to figure out a new tool; you enjoy the "puzzle" of troubleshooting, reverse-engineering issues, and making systems work better than the vendor manual says they should.

Ownership Mentality

- You treat the stack like it’s yours.
- You don’t wait to be told what’s broken, you find it, fix it, document it, and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

- Home lab, side projects, tool testing, automations, personal SIEMs, weird scripts, weekend experiments.

Professional English and Spanish proficiency

- You will work with international vendors, technical documentation, and integral customers.
