About The RoleAs a Risk Analyst, you are curious with an eye for detail to identify and prevent potential losses before they happen.
You are on the front lines of preventing fraud, evaluating merchant credit worthiness, and protecting our company and our service professionals (our Pros) from loss.
In this role, you will perform investigations and make underwriting decisions on transaction and account-level reviews.
You are a problem solver who searches for the who, what, where, and why.
You are a motivated self-starter with an interest in investigative research.

What You Do Each DayReview, identify, and investigate high-risk payment transactionsConduct analysis on merchants and transaction activity to make data-driven decisions regarding risk and credit worthinessEvaluate new accounts and determine their eligibility to utilize our payment processing solutionsHandle end-to-end management and documentation of casesCollaborate with senior risk leaders to enhance existing loss prevention strategies and identify new opportunities for improvement
Qualifications1-2 years of relevant experience in risk analysis or a related fieldBachelor's in accounting, finance, economics, related field,



or equivalent experienceExperience with fraud detection and preventionExperience with credit underwritingExperience with Salesforce a plusExperience with Stripe or other credit card processors a plus

Location Dependent InformationThis role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $28,000-$32,000 USD annually.
The specific compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro's equity plan.
