About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in the FinTech industry, is looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer using Java OR React to join their team. This project involves building and maintaining a high-performance, next-generation electronic trading platform. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Platform Development: Work with a team of engineers to build and maintain the proprietary electronic trading platform. Modernisation: Use modern tools and methods to expand the capabilities of their cloud-based application. Knowledge Transfer: Help transition the development of the platform to the in-house team.



Solution Collaboration: Partner with product teams to develop solutions for current and future customers. Required Skills & Experience We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The adecuado candidate will have: 7+ years of experience in software engineering and data-related technologies. Deep expertise in Java (ideally Java 21) with Spring Boot and/or React with TypeScript. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals. Experience with multithreading design patterns, relational databases, SQL, and building cloud-based applications. Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
