Raleigh Immigration Law Firm defends people the U.S. government is trying to deport.
Every day, families contact us after ICE detention, traffic stops, or court dates that went wrong. In many cases, the difference between release and prolonged detention is fast action and a clear plan in the first days .
The Sales Manager owns that window.
This role exists to ensure that:
- Everyone who contacts us is immediately taken under our wing, gets clarity about their options, and is guided toward the strongest possible chance of their loved one returning home
- Every intake and sales rep follows the same standards, scripts, and timelines
- No preventable delay costs someone additional minutes or days of detention
If you believe sales is only about relationship-building over time, this role is not a fit.
If you believe sales is about making the right decision happen fast, keep reading.
What you will own
You will run the Reception, Sales and Intake function end to end.
That includes:
- A team responsible for initial consultations, conversions, and onboarding
- The systems, scripts, KPIs, and follow-up standards that drive results
- Daily enforcement of expectations—not suggestions
You and your team do not give legal advice.
You do ensure that no operational failure weakens a legal defense.
Until volume supports a full-time Sales Manager role, you will also carry a personal sales load . You will close cases yourself while building and enforcing the systems the team will later scale.
What success looks like
Within your first 90 days:
- Implement a consistent sales process that supports a 70%+ conversion rate from SQLs.
- Increase the volume of SQLs by at least 20% through collaboration with marketing.
- Build a high-quality pipeline aligned with company growth objectives by conducting a minimum of 30 strategic sales interactions with qualified prospects.
- Audit and optimize CRM usage to ensure accurate tracking of lead progression, activity, and forecasting accuracy.
- Ensure 100% of leads are screened immediately upon contacting the firm during business hours (with SQLs immediately proceeding to the next step), and work with our AI Specialist to optimize our after-hours service.
- Identify opportunities to increase average deal size and reduce the length of the sales cycle through coaching, process enhancements, and improved sales messaging.
- Increase consultation-to-retainer conversion rate compared to the prior 90-day baseline.
- Track intake, Sales,
and Reception KPIs daily and review weekly to ensure alignment with performance goals, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
Within 6 months:
- Sales and Intake teams consistently meet or exceed conversion targets.
- Scripts, objection handling, and onboarding steps are standardized and enforced.
- Lead quality feedback loops with marketing are active and documented.
This firm is targeting aggressive growth within the next 12–18 months .
This role directly controls the front end of that outcome.
What you will do, day to day
- Train, coach, and correct sales and intake staff using real calls and real data
- Use AI-supported call analysis to review transcripts and identify missed opportunities, weak framing, and improvement areas for each rep
- Run daily and weekly sales meetings with clear targets and follow-ups
- Review conversion data, missed opportunities, and no-shows weekly
- Identify bottlenecks and fix them without waiting for permission
- Ensure onboarding steps are completed, documented, and confirmed with clients
- Maintain strict compliance with bar rules (no legal advice)
You will enforce adherence to scripts and standards.
Feedback from the team is encouraged, but changes require following the existing system first, proposing improvements, getting approval, and validating results through A/B testing before adoption.
If a process fails, you own fixing it.
If a rep underperforms, you address it directly.
Coaching & development
You are expected to arrive knowing how to run sales.
You are also expected to improve.
We provide twice-weekly external training :
- One session focused on sales reps (you attend to stay aligned with what your team is learning)
- One session with other Sales Managers in small law firms
Coaching is not remedial here.
It is standard. Participation is expected.
Who this role is for
This role is for someone who has already increased revenue before—and is not satisfied doing it once .
You have a track record of:
- Taking over an existing sales function and making it produce more
- Increasing conversion rates, average case value, or total revenue through deliberate changes—not luck or timing
- Feeling personally responsible when numbers plateau
You don’t wait for permission to improve results. You diagnose, test, measure, and fix.
This role fits someone who has:
- 5+ years leading sales teams selling services (or high-ticket products)
- 3+ years managing people with clear metrics and real consequences
- Personally closed deals and used your own calls to refine how others sell
- Run sales through a CRM and used data to change behavior, not just report outcomes
- Led teams where “we’re doing fine” was never an acceptable answer
You are energized—not intimidated—by goals that move every quarter.
If revenue flattens, you feel pressure here. Internally and externally. And you know how to respond.
You are comfortable:
- Giving direct feedback the same day a problem appears
- Holding standards while staying open to better ideas
- Working in emotionally heavy situations without shutting down or over-identifying
Spanish fluency and English proficiency at B2 level or higher are required.
Who this role is not for
Do not apply if you:
- Avoid confrontation with underperformers
- Need weeks to build buy-in before enforcing standards
- See sales as persuasion rather than responsibility
- Are uncomfortable working with immigrant families facing detention
This is not a brand-polishing role.
This is an execution role.
Compensation & structure
- This role starts at $2,500/month , with the expectation that total earnings will significantly exceed that
- Performance-based bonuses with no upper limit
- Health insurance
- Paid time off and holidays
Advancement is based on results, not tenure.
We measure success by results, not hours.
This is a remote role with adaptable scheduling. You’re trusted to structure your day in a way that delivers consistent outcomes aligned with client needs and team standards.
You are expected to contribute a minimum of 40 hours per week, at least half of which are within our business hours of:
- Mon - Fri: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Sunday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Why people stay here
People stay because:
- Their work keeps families together
- Standards are clear and enforced
- Results matter more than titles
- The mission shows up in daily decisions, not posters
If you have run sales teams where speed, clarity, and accountability decide outcomes—and you want your work to matter beyond revenue—apply.
If you’re unsure whether this sounds intense enough, it probably is.
