About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor to turn raw footage into high-performing, scroll-stopping videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar platforms. This role is idóneo for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, and social media trends—and knows how to keep viewers watching.
Key Responsibilities
Edit engaging vertical short-form videos (9:16) from raw footage, Zoom/Meet recordings, and long-form content
Create high-retention edits using strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling techniques
Add captions, graphics, sound effects, and music aligned with brand identity




Optimize and export videos according to each platform’s specifications
Organize and manage video assets and deliverables
Collaborate with the marketing/content team and quickly implement feedback
Requirements
Proven experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts (portfolio required)
Proficiency in CapCut plus at least one professional editing tool (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
Strong understanding of social media trends, virality principles, and platform best practices
Ability to create captions, transitions, motion graphics, and effects that match brand tone
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and open to creative feedback
Nice to Have
Basic graphic or thumbnail design skills (Canva, Adobe Express)
Familiarity with content performance metrics to help optimize edits
