Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pet Product & Accessories Designer to bring innovative, captivating pet toys and accessories to life! Your mission is to design safe, durable, and visually engaging products that delight both pets and their owners. With a passion for pet toy trends and a creative approach, you’ll transform ideas into one-of-a-kind, playful creations. If you have experience with licensed products and AI, you’ll also have the chance to infuse iconic brands and beloved characters into your designs, making them irresistible for pet lovers everywhere!

Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and design a variety of plush pet toys, clothing, and accessories with engaging prints and patterns.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D sketches to convey design concepts.
- Use AI tools, optimizing the creative process.
- Recommend materials that prioritize durability and safety.
- Work closely with product development teams to refine designs for manufacturability.
- Design and develop packaging solutions, including dielines, artwork, and specifications aligned with production requirements when needed.
- Research market trends, consumer preferences, and safety standards for creative inspiration.




- Collaborate cross-functionally across teams, supporting a variety of design needs including tech packs for toys and apparel, technical drawings, presentations, and lifestyle image creation.
- Ensure all designs meet industry safety requirements.
- Revise designs based on customer feedback and testing.
- Partner with marketing to create compelling product descriptions and packaging ideas.
- Collaborate with licensors to align designs with brand guidelines and licensing agreements.

Requirements (Must-Have)

Technical Skills (Required)

- Expertise in plush toy construction, materials, and safety standards.
- Experience developing detailed tech packs and production-ready files.
- Knowledge of textile, print, and accessories design.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AI, and sketching techniques.
- Experience with 3D modeling and design software.
- Strong understanding of toy safety regulations and pet behavior insights.
