We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to take ownership of product quality across our growing SaaS platform. This is not just a traditional testing role — you will work at the intersection of Quality Assurance, Customer Experience, and AI-powered workflows to ensure our product truly serves its users.
You will collaborate closely with Support, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to transform real user feedback into actionable quality improvements and help us build a product people genuinely love.
What You’ll Do, User-Centric Quality Assurance
- Partner with the Support team to analyze tickets, bug reports, and recurring complaints — converting them into structured test scenarios.
- Collaborate with Marketing to understand user personas, messaging, and onboarding flows to ensure the product aligns with expectations.
- Advocate for the end user during sprint planning, grooming sessions, and release discussions.
AI-Assisted Testing & Workflows
- Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate test case generation, exploratory testing, documentation, and bug triage.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into QA processes (regression analysis, anomaly detection, workflow optimization).
- Stay current with emerging AI-driven QA tools and proactively introduce improvements.
Core QA Responsibilities
- Review and validate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria before development begins.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles.
- Perform functional, integration, UI/UX, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Communicate effectively with Product Managers and Developers to clarify requirements and flag risks early.
- Document and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity levels, and business impact.
- Maintain QA documentation including test plans, checklists, test case repositories, and release notes.
- Participate in release management and final sign-off processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Manual QA for web-based SaaS products.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Support, Marketing, Product).
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) in testing or documentation workflows.
- Experience with Jira for bug tracking and sprint workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and curiosity about user behavior.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with browser developer tools and basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript for debugging.
- Exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (growth opportunity).
- Background or strong interest in UX research or customer experience.
