Job description

Develop and implement Environment, Health & Safety strategies in full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring the effective deployment of operational controls to safeguard employee health and safety and support the organization's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance applicable to site operations.
- Develop strategies to reduce accident rates and improve safety performance.
- Establish continuous improvement parameters for safety, health, and environmental performance.
- Develop and implement prevention, health, and environmental programs and procedures.
- Manage regulatory compliance with authorities such as STPS, IMSS, SEMARNAT, Civil Protection, SEDESU, CEA, and SESEQ.
- Support and attend inspections from regulatory authorities (STPS, PROFEPA, IMSS, Civil Protection, among others).
- Administer the plant safety inspection system.




- Coordinate emergency response teams and drills.
- Coordinate the Safety and Health Committee.
- Lead and coordinate EHS continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure proper implementation and effectiveness of the Occupational Health & Safety Management System and Environmental Management System.
- Supervise and lead assigned personnel
- Track and manage EHS KPIs and performance indicators.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar EHS management role.
- Conversational English.
- Experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong background in EHS legal and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing KPIs and safety performance metrics.
