FORESIGH, an automotive company and manufacturer of plastic injection parts, is seeking a position located in the Chichimeco Industrial Park in Jesús María:

**IT Engineer**

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Provide operational and strategic support for the IT infrastructure at IT Rooms, IDF for FSMX-1 and FSMX-2, guaranteeing availability, security, and scalability while driving continuous improvement initiatives that enable business growth.

RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Site administration: Operate and monitor infrastructure at FSMX-1 and FSMX-2 (IT rooms (SITE), IDF cabinets, structured cabling, active hardware).

2. Support & maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LAN/WAN networks, Fortinet switches/firewalls, wireless APs, and CCTV systems.

3. Continuous improvement: Assess and propose network optimizations (bandwidth, latency, resilience, security).

4. Asset management: Control the inventory of IT assets (laptops, mobile phones, industrial/office printers, peripherals).

5. Backup & recovery: Execute and verify backups for workshop servers and devices; maintain disaster recovery documentation.

6. Documentation & compliance: Keep network diagrams, logs, and procedures current in line with internal standards and best practices.

7. User support: Provide second-level support to employees, meeting agreed service-level targets (SLAs).

REQUIREMENTS:
**Graduate Engineer in Computer Systems Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.





**Technical knowledge
• Basic Linux (CLI, simple scripting).
• SITE/IDF design and structured cabling fundamentals.
• Networking: IP addressing, DHCP, NAT, VPN, SSL, VLANs (trunk & access).
• Basic operation of Fortinet or similar switches/firewalls.
• Active Directory and domain services.
• Basic Programming/scripting (Python, Bash or PowerShell desired).
• Microsoft 365/Office suite.

**Skills

• Strong documentation and organizational habits.
• Proactivity and results orientation.
• Teamwork.
• Intermediate technical English.

**Experience
• Internships or relevant academic projects in networking and infrastructure (preferred).
• Two years of experience in Automotive and IT, Infrastructure and Support area.
