Trinetix is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer for our client in the Telecom sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data center migrations, fiber installations, and network capacity enhancements, along with strong proficiency in Cisco router CLI. This role involves collaborating with multiple teams and third-party providers to ensure efficient and reliable network infrastructure delivery.

Requirements

- Proven experience in network infrastructure projects, including data center migrations and fiber installations.




- Strong proficiency with Cisco router CLI for configuration and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, topologies, and configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure on critical issues.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities, with experience working across internal teams and external partners.

Nice-to-haves

- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Experience with other networking technologies and hardware beyond Cisco.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Agile frameworks).

Core Responsibilities

- Plan and execute data center and customer circuit migrations efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with third-party providers to install new fiber infrastructure to expand network capacity.
- Coordinate with field technicians for fiber patching and installations within data centers.
- Manage and resolve escalations and high-impact infrastructure projects in a timely manner.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices using command-line interface (CLI).




- Maintain accurate documentation of network changes and configurations.
