Job Description

This position is charged with receiving documents and information regarding claims and deciding if the case is payable and to what amount, while keeping with the terms and conditions of the governing policy.

An adjuster must reply to requests and questions from clients and providers regarding claim or payment status.

Respond to client queries within established SLAs. Review and close claims within the allotted times. Maintain their workbook up to date.

Make claim decisions based on policy terms and conditions.

Knowledgeable of insurance products for health, life, travel, auto or other types of policies. Experience in claims departments.

English fluency is a must, Portuguese is a plus.

Good customer service over the phone or by email. Neat and organized. Responsible.

Exercise control over expenditures in order to maintain payments within budget and policy conditions. Write explanatory responses denying coverage when necessary

Job Requirements :

Experience in insurance

Good communication skills (Spanish and English)

Customer service experience

Good computer skills (email, Excel)

Organized and neat
