FastTrack for Azure (FTA)

is a technical enablement program staffed with Azure product group engineers and program managers who work directly with customers and partners to help them build Azure solutions quickly and confidently, enabling the successful deployment of Azure services.

Our goal is to help customers accelerate and de-risk their Azure deployments, while collecting valuable feedback to improve the Azure platform.

FastTrack for Azure (FTA) takes a solution-centric approach, providing customers with Microsoft Azure engineers, tools, and best practices to significantly increase customer’s success with Azure.

Our team is looking for you, a Program Manager, to support our LATAM business in Mexico that brings great teamwork, organization & structure, an inquisitive mind, positive attitude, high-energy leadership, and engineering execution to our customer-focus team, chartered with enabling a world-class experience for Microsoft Azure cloud platform customers.

This role is integral to overall operationalization of the customer onboarding experience and driving success with FTA engagements as part of our LATAM team, with a focus on customers in Mexico.


- Lead the customer onboarding journey, the customer experience and maintain the overall customer relationship.

- Work closely with FTA engineers in addressing customer solution needs and driving success with their Azure deployments.

- Identify opportunities where we can do better for our customers (process, tools, technology) to increase FTA’s overall impact.

- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, sales, services and partner teams.

- Coach team members and mentor others in planning, organizing, and coordinating work.

- Evangelize FTAs expertise and proactively search for opportunities to accelerate and unblock customer journeys across all Azure services.

- Collaborate with FTA Engineers to identify Product and Service feedback.

- Analyze data and create insights to drive reporting requirements. This includes implementation of new data points and tooling / process updates.

- Provide regular communication updates via newsletters, business reviews, internal staff meetings with broader FTA community and Leadership team.

- Keen ability to communicate ideas effectively with executives and engineering teams.

- Assembling, leading and working within strong cross-functional groups and matrixed team environments.

- Demonstrated skills and abilities to consistently create an amazingly positive experience for customers.

- Track record of problem-solving ranging from conceptualization to implementation.

- Ability to juggle and manage several priorities and drive clarity for FTA engineers.

- Real-world smart, logical and able to learn new areas quickly.

- Familiarity with the culture influence and needs of our LATAM customers, particularly for the Mexican market.

Basic Qualifications :

- 5+ years of direct customer facing experience, conversant with senior IT professionals, backed by a deep understanding of their solution needs.

- 3+ years Microsoft Azure and / or cloud experience.

- Fluent in English and Spanish including reading, writing, and speaking with a proficiency in technical cloud concepts.

- Located in Mexico City, Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Proven ability to lead, manage, build and deliver customer business results through an engineering or professional services team.

- Problem-solving and leadership in leveraging internal and / or external resources, where and when needed, to do what’s right for the customer and for the organization.

- Program Management, Project Management or Delivery Management experience.

- Understanding of architectural and cloud design principles, including Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

- Experience managing large scale cloud migrations.

- Experience working in the LATAM region, with knowledge of the Mexican market.

- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.
