Summary of This Role The main role of the Risk Analyst (“RA”) is being responsible to make the adequate assessment of merchant applications,
performing the analysis on applications and related information, making the necessary due diligence, structuring and through a risk perspective make the necessary recommendations on the convenience or not for the approval of the Acquiring service. Produce the necessary reports for the different committees of the company. What Part Will You Play? Participates in the analysis of credit and risk information (both consumer and commercial) to include reviews of multiple financial / business aspects of the customer. Helps develop a credit decision for deals and applications. Begins to utilize credit policy framework, risk models, risk tables and assumptions, business terms and conditions, and relevant financial information to identify and advise potential risk exposure on simple deals. Participates in the credit decision meeting to the prospect. Assists senior analysts in the structuring of deal terms. Learns to explain the decision and terms of approval. Supports more experienced credit analysts with: the preparation of detailed credit analysis (executive approval/credit memos). What Are We Looking For in This Role? Minimum Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or engineering or completion of a financial qualified Program ● A minimum of 2-3 years on Credit Analysis. ● PC skills and the ability to work with Word, Excel or other similar software, e-mail and Internet. Preferred Qualifications Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously so that sales results remain consistent from one month to the next. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take charge and complete objectives. Pro-active thinker. Ability to develop "innovative approaches" to problem solving. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including effective speaking before groups. Bilingual is a most (strong English language skills, written, reading and verbal where required) What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities? Required Fluid Bilingual Spanish & English
