Job Summary:

- Analyze and develop reports for providing on time information for decisions about logistic cost. (saving and cost avoidance)

- Responsible for the billing process Inbound and Outbound (freight, customs brokers, and extra costs)

- Support and development of knowledge in the use of management systems (SAP)

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Billing Process.

- Daily analyze that freight charges, customs broker and extra costs are within current -

commercial conditions.

- Daily receipt and review of invoices.

- Develop reports with a record of all costs logistics generated by PO.

- Request and control of Purchase Orders and Goods Receipt for Inbound and outbound.

- Lead metrics developing and updating the scorecard for Inbound.

- Validate that air freight rates are under approval policies

Tracking supplier payments.

- Support to suppliers for clarification of payments.

- Communication with the AP team to guarantee timely payment to suppliers

Support to the finance area.

- Prepare monthly the PPV and OPEX provisions report, reporting all logistics costs not approved

at the end of the month. (delays in the issuance or receipt of invoices)

- Develop the annual closing report for the tax department. (Provisioned bills vs. invoices

registered for payment).

- Prepare monthly  report of increments for armed of standard costs

Financial/Job Scope:

- Volume invoices: 650 per month.

- Number of plants: 3 plants.

- Number of suppliers: Around 15

- Opex Dollar influenced Outbound freight: 400 K per month

- Opex Dollar influenced Inbound freight: 580 K per month

- Currencies: 2 (MXN and USD)

Organization Impact/Influence:

- Internal communication with support processes: Finance, AP, Purchasing, and Customer Service

- External communication with suppliers for support with payment terms and billing processes.

- Regional communication with other plants to practice sharing purposes

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Non direct reports

- Full-time

Related Job Requirements/Qualifications:


- 1 + years in Logistics / Operations /  Freight forwarding

Functional Competencies:

- Billing Management, activity planning, Structured Problem Solving, Transportation 3PL & 4PL, SAP.

Leadership Competencies:

Educational Requirements:

- University / Bachelor’s degree

Cultural Diversity:

- English fluency and some technical vocabulary ( Financial and Logistic)

- Collaborate whit people from different educational degree’s and background.

- Analysis:

- Develop solutions to make the billing process more agile

- Guarantee the correct billing between plants.

Judgment and Decision-Making:

- Activity planning to deliver results on time

- Analysis of rates for decision making

- Working Conditions:

- Operations in distribution center with freight transport
