The Process Engineer will be based in Guadalajara, North Campus. Responsible for providing technical and administrative engineering service to the plant, as well as the production equipment and requirements for production monitoring systems, support for production in solving problems and improving the process. Responsible for coordinating and leading the plant's process engineering group. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability. Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters. Trouble shoot process related issues. Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements. Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products. Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements. Improve manufacturing techniques and through put. Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities. Develop and maintain process documentation. Review processing methods. Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer. Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer. Metrics and dashboard Standardization, control and improvement of processes. Support to the needs of the production line. Implementation of new products and equipment. Documentation of the plant processes. Control of parameters of all production processes. Responsible for the result and improvement of the plant's engineering KOIs (Yield, TML, DT…). Here is some of what you’ll need (required): Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar position in electrical / electronical manufacturing. Fluent English Strong Knowledge in PCBA´s (SMT & Back End) Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or related field Advanced statistical knowledge (Minitab) Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Experience in Customer Service.
