The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Manager is a new role overseeing Poly’s roadmap for environmental, sustainability, and governance initiatives. By working closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, legal, sales operations,

and business applications, the ESG Manager will identify ESG opportunities, align priorities, and recruit collaborators to drive projects to sustainable implementation. This is a position with high growth potential, starting with a focus on supply chain and product operations but with immediate tie-ins to the larger company via ISO14001 and reporting to customers and investors.

This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Supply Chain Strategy

What You Will Bring to Poly

Strong interest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and responsible sourcing Understanding of common ESG metrics, data collection methods, and reporting standards Proven track record working with suppliers globally on environmental and social issues Excellent project management skills and follow-through Canny ability to unite business processes and data Entrepreneurial spirit and bias to action Natural ability to build relationships and marshal disparate groups of people Top-notch communication across cultures, functional groups, seniority levels, and time zones


Engage cross-functional internal teams and potential suppliers to evaluate and influence the adoption of sustainable materials with respect to the following: material selection, supplier selection and sourcing requirements. Establish, promote, and track specific KPI’s around sustainability and inclusive design. Advocate for the right choices during design & development. Work with our supply chain organization and cross functionally to achieve the results outlined by our corporate ESG KPI’s. Review and analyse global trends, best practices, emerging regulations, policies, third-party certification schemes and voluntary sustainability standards to ensure the highest standards for protecting people and the environment are in place where Poly’s global suppliers operate Identify all key potential social and environmental impacts and risks of transactions and ensure that their magnitude and significance are well understood by internal parties and approvers Work closely with corporate communications, investor relations, and legal partners to develop the company’s ongoing ESG strategy and work plan. Support the company’s key ESG and sustainability disclosures including the annual Corporate Responsibility Report and updates to the Corporate Responsibility website, Proxy (ESG content), CDP reporting, alignment with SASB, TCFD, GRI, UN SDGs, and other relevant non-financial disclosures. Aggregate content from various cross-functional teams around the company’s sustainability and equity programs and weave into narrative and disclosures that reflect the impact of the company’s commitments through an investor lens. Manage the prioritization and completion of ESG surveys and questionnaires from third parties, including investors, rating agencies, customers, and others. Oversee ESG data management, verification, and assurance, including identifying key ESG metrics and key performance indicators and engaging content owners and subject matter experts to collect, store and validate ESG information. Coordinate meetings compile information, support benchmarking and other related activities Track and monitor the progress of the organization’s ESG strategy


College degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or Operations. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate ESG Global High Tech Electronics supply chain and factory operations experience Experience collaborating with product development teams, establishing, and leading cross-functional sustainability projects, and influencing strategic business decisions Knowledge of RoHs / REACH, conflict minerals, and ISO14001 strongly preferred Strong understanding of ESG and Sustainability issues and associated market trends Experience with applying environmental, social, and governance (ESG) indicators and due diligence frameworks, such as Dodd-Frank Section 1502, OECD due diligence or responsible business conduct preferred; experience with Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) disclosure a plus Excellent technical, analytical, data analysis, writing, and presentation skills Highly organized, great attention to detail, follow-through, and communication skills. Strong cross-cultural and cross-functional communication skills and a track record of successful collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders.
