Job Overview: The Staff Technical Project Manager will be responsible for supporting Financial Systems Initiatives and ERP Implementations related to Oracle Finance modules. The Technical project analyst will partner with the Finance and IT communities demonstrating leadership to execute and accomplish with objectives aligned and integrated with the business enterprise standards. Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will: Leverage functional and technical expertise in ERP & Finance/IT business processes to become a focal point for the Finance community in Oracle Finance modules Work with the finance community and SMEs to enhance reporting and processes related to Finance modules, Cost Management, Inventory and potentially other areas as well Collaborate and engage with SMEs and counterparts across the organization, Finance & IT, to schedule, build and deliver Oracle projects, integrated solutions and functionality to addresses the business requirements with great quality, on time and within budget. Support analysis, requirement development, design, documentation and implementation for Finance simplification projects and enhancements Observe, evaluate and document existing business processes and requirements and work with module owners and project engagement teams to determine effective functional specifications and global designs/solutions Improve process flow and user documentation for different oracle related modules and enhance user knowledge and competency Support ERP implementations across the globe Perform system validation as part of system integration (SIT) & user acceptance testing (UAT) Support end user training, act as finance process gate keeper for regional financial processes & requirements Support data conversion of financial elements for ERP rollouts Support monthly pre-closing and closing activities Provide support to users and assist with troubleshooting application & business process issues and provide basic training around the solutions delivered. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering Previous experience (3+ year) in Oracle Financials implementations (Oracle 11.5.10 or R12 Cost Management /Inventory/Payables/Receivables) Fluent in English Desired Characteristics: Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources Ability to translate functional business requirements into IT design options that are scalable, efficient & re-usable, that comply with defined architectural standards and that enhance the business process Experience working with others on a global basis Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans Wabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges.
