This position is a Human Resources Business Partner for Mexico/Latin America. The successful candidate will have solid HR generalist experience and will handle all tactical and strategic human resources matters within Mexico and Latin America business unit.


- Strategic HR leader for Mexico/Latin America that partners with all areas of the business to support the achievement of the business strategy and goals.

- Develops and executes initiatives for all Human Resource (HR) strategy, policies and procedures. Assesses and anticipates Human Resources related needs and leads the development of people strategies with proactive solutions.

- Responsible for all HR processes and activities related to recruitment and hiring.

- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, IT and external contacts to manage onboarding process for local national hires in Latin America.

- Interprets Mexican Federal Labor Law (FLL) and consults with HR leaders as well as internal and external counsel as needed to ensure compliance with all regulations.

- Manages all day to day employment related operations across all Latin America business units, including hiring decisions, performance management, training, disciplinary actions and termination. Partners with leadership and HR business partners to recommend employment decisions.

- Point of contact with internal and external payroll vendor to oversee the payroll function and the accurate processing of employee time.

- Builds and facilitates strategic relationships with centers of excellence (COEs) across the organization to develop and implement employee programs and communications (Wellness initiatives, community relations, etc.)

- Organizes and maintains personnel and other HR confidential files.


- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources management, business administration or related.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources administration, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

- Strong influencing, organizational, critical thinking and communication skills.

- Bilingual – Fluency (speaking and writing) in both Spanish and English required.
