Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
What your background should look like:
Responsible for the control and management of the high value storage area. He/She manages manufacturing requests (Kanban/Kitted Factory Orders), inventory control, EH&S;, receiving, cycle counting of the components controlled in the High Value items area (Special components).
Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations for the manufacturing requests(Kanban/Kitted Factory Orders).
Track, receive and transfer special components manifested in importation trucks
Deliver materials to pdn area and keep documentation as evidence.
Perform cycle counting activities in Special component area.
Analyze potential candidates to be managed under this process
You will monitor operations in conjunction with the EHS Coordinator assuring that we are following all safety and environmental regulations and specifications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
3-5 yrs experience preferred
Skilled in the use of PC and software applications (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
Experience with SAP (WM Module)
