- Product Engineer



- Torreon - Mexico

- - Work as product engineer liaison at Torreon ignition coil production site.

 Lead product engineer activities (i.e.: design, prototype construction, validation, GD&T;, DFMEA and release of ignition coils for automotive applications using Change Request System).

 Interface on a technical level with a variety of global customers and suppliers.

 Lead and/or support continuous improvement activities focusing on warranty reduction, FTQ reduction and cost reduction.

 Lead and/or support implementation of new coils for aftermarket.

 prepare progress reports for upper management.



 Occasional travel in USA and/or International; flexible work schedule necessary on occasion.

• 2 years minimum product design experience.

• Fluent English skills

• Analytical skills and experience doing stack up calculations, analysis, and/or simulation to confirm key product challenges.

• Willing and motivated to learn new products and technologies and gain additional skills



Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment

• Creativity and resourcefulness in finding new product design solutions and moving past challenges
