You will be part of Foreign Trade team and will support/ lead Import Mexico area.

Here is how this role will be critical to our business:



Purpose:



Coordinate and execute the process active ingredients import, finished product (Crop Protection) and seeds (Field crop and Vegetables), as well as the import of samples of different nature and purpose by the different customs of the country, maintaining a high level of service and response to the delivery of products in time and correct quantities, complying with the Foreign Trade’s regulatory framework, under Syngenta's regulatory compliance standards and always optimizing resources.



Accountabilities:



• Generation of purchase orders for Crop Protection business materials in the company's ERP (SAP)



• Manage the tariff classification of new and existing products, the identification of applicable customs and phytosanitary requirements and the applicability of existing trade agreements, to have a consolidated and updated source of information to support the operation.



• Monitor the arrival of purchase orders for active ingredients, finished product and seeds at borders and ports to carry out the import program in accordance with the production plans and priorities defined by the business.



• Generate and analyze the operation indicators and based on the findings, implement continuous improvement actions.



• Monitor the budget execution of import operations



• Focal point or link between the different functions of the company and the third parties involved in the operation.



Qualifications

Essential for this position:



• Professional experience: Minimum 2 years in Foreign Trade positions. Diploma or master’s degree in Foreign Trade (preferred)



• Academic background: Bachelor's Degree in Foreign or International Trade



•Competencies: Leadership, Customer orientation, focus of results, management processes, problem solving, transparency, commitment.



• Knowledge: Control and Management of commercial documents (Customs declarations, Origin certificate, permits import and phytosanitary certificates, etc.)



Nice to have:



• Be familiar with entities such as AMASAC (Nursery Association) SENASICA (National Service of Health, Safety and Food Quality), COFEPRIS, different Customs Agents.



• Knowledge in agrochemical and seeds industry
