Role Summary/Purpose: Responsible for all team operations, activities,
performance and development needs related to teams interaction in a global
environment projects. To provide and maintain compliance in technical,
equipment and human resources related processes and documentation. To be
committed to build highly effective teams.
Essential Responsibilities: The main role for this position will be to lead
the Wind Farm Engineering Team in GEIQ which is comprised of Application
Engineering, Project Engineering and CM&U; Services Engineering Teams. The
major duties will be:
1.Team Management: Support and execute the team’s vision and strategy, leads
and monitors team progress and its implementation. Optimize team’s resources.
Execute the planning, strategy, financial, resource development, technics and
compliance sessions. Achieve the goals established by the business, such as
OTD FTY, different metrics, budgets, growth, etc.
2.Team Development: Decide, along with upper management, the definition and
selection of personnel profiles, define the team member’s roles and
requirements. Own Session C and salary planning. Performance ratings, feedback
session review individuals learning plans.
3.Technical Contribution: Lead the execution and participate of Engineering
Activities to meet project needs.
4.Quality: Ensure that Quality of Deliverables, Quality Management Systems, 6S
and measurement of Quality objectives are met
– Have a BS degree plus 6 years of experience (Degree must be in a related
field). For the Design path, have a BS degree plus 6 years of experience or a
Technical Associates Degree plus 10 years of experience.
– Demonstrated solid technical skills and experience in accordance with
– Experience leading teams or relevant projects for a minimum of 2 years.
– Demonstrated Project Management skills or the ability to document, plan,
market, execute, control, close and manage programs, projects, orders,
activities and/or systems.
– Have the Green Belt certification.
– Excellent oral comprehension abilities and writing and grammar skills in
English and Spanish.
– Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation on any
topic with few mistakes (mistakes that will not affect getting the message
through). Must have fluency and rhythm and sufficient self-confidence in the
language to be able to handle meetings and conversations
