Role Summary/Purpose: The Demand Planner develops practical and innovative
ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for
demand analysis and forecast, inventory strategy definition, safety stock set-
up, inventory report, obsolete management and NPI phase-in phase-out execution
for Current in order to guarantee excellence in service and inventory levels
Essential Responsibilities: Analyze demand and align sales forecast for
project and flow business
· Map project pipeline and respective material requirements
· Define inventory strategy (MTO or MTS) and safety stock levels by sku
· Manage inventory including NPI phase-in and phase-out execution, SMI
reduction, obsolete depletion
· Provide data to finance define obsolete reserve
· Lead overall inventory improvement efforts utilizing Six Sigma methods and
help with the organization objectives · Follow-up on deliveries, update
planning tool and keep countries updated with inventory and fulfillment data
· Interact / engage with all organizations to drive demand improvement
· Manage the business planning performance metrics (OTS, forecast accuracy,
inventory levels)
· Implement robust demand/ inventory improvement plans driven by root cause
analyses, statistical analyses and metrics of forecast performance
· Manage the issuance of the metrics reports
Qualifications/Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
preference for Industrial Engineering
· At least 3 additional years of experience in a planning role
· Fluent in English

Desired Characteristics: Six-Sigma certification is preferred· Ability to
influence at all levels of the organization both internally and externally·
