We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and confident Corporate Implementation
Trainer – SAP TM (m/f) Mexico to join our team of trainers for the global SAP
TM implementation (position regionalized in 2017). The position is a demanding
one, focusing on delivering end user trainings on the new application. An
excellent knowledge of Panalpina’s processes and preferably some
training/coaching experience would be essential for the role, as well as a
wilingness to travel extensively for up to 2 years (approx. 75%).
* Prepare and deliver structured training on the SAP TM application based on operational processes during its global implementation within the Panalpina network
* Provide on-site and remote support to users after implementation and to ensure that a clear understanding of SAP TM and other relevant applications is established and maintained
* Manage training components of a country project in line with the roll-out project manager
* Create, refine and publish the required training materials
Together with the respective product and project representatives
* Construct a coherent and focused training program to ensure that end-users of SAP TM are sufficiently trained to manage the system during the critical phases of the implementation – the “first 100 files”
* Define and publish the SAP TM training materials and to ensure that these are maintained to reflect the current SAP TM application and business processes
* Support the respective roll-out project managers (RPMs) in conducting detailed Training Needs Analyses in a country and from that to create a robust and realistic plan of training sessions covering the respective staff and allowing the continuation of daily operations in the country
* Lead classroom training sessions delivering structured training as per the respective planning, including regular checks of understanding and individual mentoring if needed
* Provide coaching and/or follow-up training to support the successful live-start of SAP TM in the assigned countries (on-site or remotely depending on need)
* Adapt training delivery to differing cultural environments where needed
* Measure the effectiveness of the training using defined measurement processes / KPIs
* Keep abreast of changes/developments in the business environment and provide business-focused training advice and recommendations
* Excellent knowledge of Panalpina’s processes
* Relevant experience and a recognized qualification in training, learning and development, and/or background in freight forwarding / logistics with training experience
* Knowledge of Air- and Ocean- Freight Forwarding and Logistics, and/or
* Knowledge of SAP TM or other SAP products, and/or
* Knowledge of L&D; methods, tools and processes
* Excellent knowledge of MS-Office Suite tools
* Excellent ability with training design and delivery software – minimum requirement of PowerPoint and preferably other training delivery packages
* Sound awareness of project management related software applications
* Willingness to work remotely and to travel extensively for up to 2 years(up to 75% during peak periods)
* Robust individual, with a positive attitude, able to drive change and motivate others
* Enthusiastic, confident & engaged member of a diverse team, spread around the globe
* Clear and strong communication skills
* Experience in presentation development and delivery
* Project management, planning and organizing skills
* Ability to convert technical information into comprehensible ‘end user’ information
* Culturally sensitive
* Fluency particularly in English (written and spoken)
* Other languages (written and spoken) as an advantage
