Deliver support to Audit process with certain tasks, act as the first point of
contact with sales, customers and partners, compliance with standard SAP GLAS
and LAC OLC Processes, communicate effectively with customers and multiple SAP
colleagues (Other GLAS Colleagues, Sales, Local License Audit contact persons,
Shared Service Contacts, Local Contacts) to deliver high quality service and
support and demonstrate operational excellence and flexibility, demonstrate
sales negotiations skills including internal know-how on pricing, revenue
recognition, and licensing models, participate in the Local Sales Forecast
calls as an active member by providing audits’ status update and aligning with
sales teams and VAT teams on one single strategy approach.
Communicate effectively with customers and multiple SAP colleagues (GLAS
colleagues, Sales, Local License Audit contact persons, Shared Service
Contacts, Local Contacts) to deliver high quality service and support
Deliver support to Audit process with certain tasks
-Establish the communication with Sales Executive for audit prospects in coordination with the License Auditor
-Send out the first audit communication to customers or partners, follow up respectively and escalate if required
-Act as a liaison between sales, customer and auditor – be the first point of contact within the audit process
-Review the Contracts, Metrics & price list of the customer to be audited and ensure the License Entitlement
-Support License Auditor during all the audit process and analysis of the GAPs
-Manage escalations with non-responsive customers (customer providing reports).
-Review the GLAS Audit Results with a threshold – USD 300 K and ensure the delivery of License Audit Results without errors and complement it if necessary ( Self-Declaration).
-Quote the audit result and ensure that the Op. will have License Audit Origin.
-Support Sales in the Audit closing activities, and if required engage with customers to explain the audit methodology and audit results.
-Prepare communications/notifications to customers on an ad-hoc basis and as per required, escalate to 2nd level when needed
Compliance with Standard SAP GLAS and LAC OLC Processes
-Manage License Audit as a Compliance process, following LAC OLC plan and objectives (KPI’s)
-Be competent in relation to GLAS & OLC processes using SAP tools ( ISP, ZLAS, CRM, Pricing tools & Reference Systems, if relevant to role)
-Understand the License Audit Process through GLAS and OLC.
-Effective management of workload, to include Outlook, Phone Calls, etc.
-Use the GLAS & OLC standard documents and templates, unless otherwise agreed with SAP SE & Legal
-Clearly and objectively communicate with customers on the audit administrative process and results
-Work closely with Sales on license audit opportunities, and drive closing process to maximize revenue, in a timely manner, following the rules of engagement
Demonstrate Operational excellence and flexibility
-Demonstrate professional behavior and good time/self-management
-Communicates absences to manager and relevant colleagues and ensure substitution is in place
-Adherence to all processes detailed in the GLAS Employee Handbook & SAP HR Policies (Global & Local)
-Where shifts are applicable, ensure appropriate handover of responsibilities in a timely manner
-To act as substitute when a colleague is absent, ensuring appropriate handover and follow-through on tasks
-5+ years of license management, sales or license audit related roles
-Fluency in English, any other language an asset.
-Fluency in the language of local markets desirable.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university.
-MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
