The Solutions Enablement Director will be an integral part of our growing
Latin America Merchant Sales & Solutions group joining the Merchant
Specialized Sales team in Mexico.
This person will lead the design, implementation and configuration of Visa
Digital Solutions to merchants and acquirers in Mexico as well as will
identify, develop and manage technology partners. He will support the sales
and business teams by providing in-depth technical knowledge and consultancy
of merchant & acquirer payment processes as well as how to implement Visa
Merchant Digital Solutions including CyberSource platforms, Visa Checkout,
Connectivity, Loyalty and Analytics. The SE Director will also manage product
roadmap and enhancements with global product teams.
This position will have responsibility to cover all clients and prospects in
Mexico and will interact directly with new & existing customers, business &
technology partners and multi-functional Visa internal stakeholders.
Develop in-depth knowledge of multiple Visa Merchant Digital products through
research and testing in order to act as Visa Subject Matter Expert and drive
client engagement
Provide technical pre-sales support by designing solutions architecture and
leading product implementations in merchant and acquirers
Accompanying sales team to meetings with prospects giving product integration
demonstrations with a sales-oriented approach, at all organization levels
including C-levels
Deliver client and internal training sessions on the use of Visa Merchant
Digital Solutions
Identify, develop and manage technology partners that complement and enhance
Visa Merchant Solutions capabilities
Provide proposal support to the business team in order to accurately determine
the feasibility, cost and time implications when responding to customer
Gather and accurately document business and technical requirements from
customers in order to work with other internal teams to provide reliable
project estimates
Act as technical resource on consultancy projects, writing and delivering
custom applications for clients
Strategize with our Direct Sales and Account Management teams to close sales
opportunities, including frequent contacts with internal Sr. Directors and VPs
Work closely with our Product Management team to maintain technical and
functional knowledge of existing and new products. Take a proactive approach
to staying up-to-date with product developments by monitoring code release
notes and knowledge sharing within the team
Deliver business consultancy to clients where needed
– 10+ years’ experience in a technical pre-sales or consulting role,
including prior experience with a complex enterprise environment involving
electronic payments
– Experience working as pre-sales and multiproduct expert in a technical
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related
discipline is required. Master’s degree is preferred
– Experience of regularly giving presentations to customers in a sales
environment including Director and C-Level
– Experience of working alongside a sales team, supporting them to help win
new business
– Knowledge of payment and/or risk management systems is strongly preferred
– Strong engineering or architecture background focused on Web technologies,
APIs, and machine-to-machine communication over the Internet with experience
as a developer of applications or APIs
– Strong customer interaction skills combined with excellent verbal and
written communication. Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear
and articulate fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences, in a
sales-oriented manner
– Ability to work independently on customer sites with minimal supervision
– Experience of working in the payments industry and/or eCommerce is
– Experience of delivering paid consultancy or professionals services to
clients is preferred
– Experience in managing people and resources across a matrix organization
Language Skills
Fluent in English and Spanish
Travel required (30%)
