Purpose and Objective of Job:
Support the long term objective of revenue, market share and product usage
with respect to SAP’s Analytics Solutions. The portfolio of SAP’s Analytics
Solutions contains a broad set of products for Business Intelligence, Advanced
& Predictive Analytics, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and
Governance, Risk, Compliance Management and Security (GRC&S;). The role
requires an experienced business developer and conceptual thinker who can
formulate a revenue plan and through partnership with internal and external
stakeholders, jointly execute on that plan.
Expectations and Tasks of Job:
? Revenue target ownership for SAP’s Analytics Solutions for global assigned
Strategic Customer Program (SCP) accounts
? Meet sales revenue targets while maintaining high level of customer
? Collaborate with the Global Account Directors (GADs) and associated sales
teams for the assigned SCP accounts
? Develop and execute on strategies to broaden the usage of SAP Analytics
Solutions in each assigned SCP account
? Partner with the SAP global and regional sales organization and Analytics
Solution owners to build and execute a plan for revenue, product usage and
customer success
? Generate compelling business strategies/plans in collaboration with key
lines of business and pursue innovative opportunities. Develop and lead in
sourcing, managing and closing new business opportunities
? Provide solution evangelism with SCP stakeholders that include: CFO, CIO,
Head of LOB, Head of IT, et al.
? Executive presentation and knowledge of the entire SAP Analytics Solution
portfolio in an organization are critical skill sets
? Implement strong alignment with the relevant product champions of the
Analytics Solutions portfolio
? Synthesize learnings from current sales activities in an effort to correct
existing efforts or develop new programs to ensure achievement of revenue and
SCP objectives
? When required, develop and execute on unique partnerships that will
accelerate revenue for the SCP accounts
? Able to work in an international cross functional and matrixed work
? Ability to work with other SAP Regional Center of Excellence teams and sales
leadership to demonstrate what a successful sales process for the solution
area would be from lead generation to getting SAP Successfully selected by the
? Write up and share sales and business development best practices
? Ability to travel locally or regionally 40%, main focus on market units
Mexico and Brazil
Work Experience:
? 10+ Year of Enterprise Software Industry Experience, especially in the
Analytics related applications space
? Proven track record of solution selling enterprise software to large
enterprise accounts
? Experience driving and supporting complex sales cycles
? Intimate knowledge of the Analytics space, including SAP, partner and
competitive offerings
? Work experience that includes time spent in a business development/sales
related function
? Customer Management Experience, either via account ownership or sales
support function
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:
? Successful track record in business development programs
? Strong executive communications skills
? Ability to quickly understand new technologies and translate to market
? Thorough knowledge of and ability to partner with all internal and external
stakeholders for customer success
? Strong Business Development and Program Management Skills
? Able to perform situational and data based analysis to formulate and
implement recommendations for corrective actions or to take advantage of new
? Spanish and English language proficiency, Portuguese would be a plus
