Role Summary/Purpose: The Channel Partner Manager for the GE O&G; business
within Latin-American demonstrates accountability for functional, business,
and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet
business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This
role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within
functional areas area of expertise
Essential Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute the channel growth strategy & initiatives for Latin
America, setting plans and reviewing performance for all product lines across
the region
– Identify key segments, initiatives, territories and product lines,
communicating and integrating regional and global organizations to shape
effective and efficient Go To Market strategies and team structure
– Provide product line channel coverage maps, develop product line approach
and create ideal partner profiles for coverage effectiveness
– Manage growth orders and penetration
– Own and deliver financial performance for a broad and complex channel
portfolio, own SI/SII financial planning and forecasting for indirect channel
– Identify potential channels, recruit, qualify, facilitate them through
appointment process, as well as on-board channels, train reps, and evaluate
channel effectiveness
– Develop and manage relationships with channels and end user sales team,
providing transactional support and introducing GE programs and commitments
– Manage and maintain channel relationship across multiple product lines and
complex products
– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
– Strong oral and written communication skills
– Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
– At least 10 years experience in channel partner management, sales or
– Experience in managing sales channels of multiple products in flow business
– Fluent in Portuguese & English or Spanish & English
– Ability to analyze business models
