Role Summary/Purpose: As the FP&A; Analyst you will assist in financial
support for programs/functions by performing financial results, reviews,
planning and forecasting of the financials, participating in assigned
projects, and providing financial solutions & budget controls.
Essential Responsibilities: On Going Tasks
Quarter Close
– Review Tax Packages
– Ensure proper reconciliation of PPA and non PPA balances
– Quarterly ETR and reporting
– Balance sheet
Net Income & Cash Flow Reporting to FP&A;
– Planning Sessions
– Provide Weekly estimates as part of Quarterly process
– Tax Impact on NCI
Purchase Accounting Balances
– Work with Controllership on Legal Entity Pushdown
– Validate Uniform vs Caseware reconciliation with Controllership team
– Validate final DTA, Valuation Allowance and Risk reserves
Process improvement
– Risk Review Process
? Document all FIN48 Reserves in a single secure location
? Work with GOF on Quarterly update process
? Define deliverables on FAS 5 Process, coordinate with Controller’s team
– Account Reconciliation Process
? Work with GOF on the definition of the account reconciliation process
? 40 days and Annual Process
– Tax Accounting
? Work with GOF on adoption of Mars 9 digit accounting process
? Work with FP&A; on Income projections to value DTAs going Forward
– Tax Planning and Transfer Pricing
? Support Tax Planning and Transfer Price Projects as required
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and
minimum of three years of financial work experience
– GE business Tax experience is a plus

– Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels
(including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly
communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner:

– Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications, strong
