Role Summary/Purpose: The Region Learning Manager is responsible for the
complete life cycle requirements for delivering GE leadership Skills &
Experience courses within the region and consulting with HRMs to understand
local region needs to train and develop employees to meet current and
anticipated company requirements. This role includes components of Delivery,
Consulation, Program Management and Projects that align global learning
efforts and impact.
Essential Responsibilities:
– The Region Learning Manager serves as faculty in courses throughout the
region and participates actively in the delivery of programs and reports to
the Region Learning Leader.
– Serve as faculty in select Leadership Experience or Skills courses and
obtain certification via the Crotonville organization through formal Trainer
Certification Program.
– Responsible for the wing to wing curation of identified courses hosted in
the region which includes elements of program management, heavy participant
interaction, and coordination with local coordination support teams.
– Actively consults with local HRMs to understand specific business needs and
liaisons with Custom Solutions team to enable delivery of targeted solutions.
– Assists the region in execution of the region learning strategy. Includes
leadership and participation on strategic region projects as needed.
– Serves as a key member of the region’s Faculty Excellence team and provides
feedback and coaching to external faculty as needed in alignment with global
faculty excellence leader.
– Analyzes and communicates course evaluation (satisfaction / impact) data to
key stakeholders
– Partners with other Learning managers across the globe to address training
needs and share best practices. Integrate key GE messages ( GE Works, We All
Rise) into presentations when needed
– Works with external training vendors to manage schedules, training
materials and invoicing / billing. Identify and implement process improvement
– Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in OD, ID, L&D;, Education, HR) with a
minimum 3 years in a related role in HR, OD, L&D; that required
consultation skills or facilitation experience in a complex organization
– Minimum 3 years of in-classroom facilitation or teaching experience to
large group audiences.
– Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication (oral and written)
skills in English.
– Must be able to travel 30-50% as required.
Position will be based in Mexico (Monterrey or Mexico City)

– Prior faculty/facilitation experience with GE strongly preferred with
certification(s) for delivering GE Leadership and Essential Skills programs.
– Outstanding interpersonal skills – focuses on the learner and know how to
create the best experience in a program. Approachable, engaging with high
accountability orientation.
– Excellent consultative skills – ability to ask probing questions to uncover
true need and consult internally within the business to develop a solution.
– Sound understanding of instructional design principles
– Highly results- and customer-oriented
– A collaborative, team-oriented style, yet able to work independently
– Masters in L&D;, OD, HR or Education
