Title: Factory Automation Engineer
Primary Location: Mexico (MX) – Coahuila (MX-COA) – Ramos Arizpe
Function: Manufacturing Engineering

What you will do?
*Plan, coordinate, and perform intermediate to advanced professional controls engineering ( Electrical machine controls design, PLC programming; Personal Computer programming; Data management).
*Oversee, coordinate and review work assigned to support personnel and contractors.
*Lead in development and implementation of small to large Factory Automation solutions. *Innovate and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.
*Develop RFQ’s for new and modified equipment and ensure FA standards arefollowed. *Design/update electrical systems and prints for machines or shop floor tooling and equipment. *Design/update human machine interfaces and PLC programs for machines or shop floor systems.
*Provide technical advice for the integration and support of automated manufacturing equipment.
*Provide Tier 2 Shop Floor Support for urgent production issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
What you’ll take?

*Highly oriented to service and teamwork.
*Background in Engineering Work (Electrical, Controls, Manufacturing, IT, maintenance, etc.).
*Skilled in PLC (Allen Bradley and Siemens), PC (VB), and Structured Query Language (SQL) programming and the engineering tools required.
*Skilled in design and configuration of industrial automation networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Devicenet, etc)
*Knowledge of electrical design and the codes, common practices, and engineering tools required.
*Knowledge of mistake proofing of manufacturing processes and shop floor devices connectivity.
*Knowledge of manufacturing tools and metrics such as FMEA, SPC, Statistics, OEE.
*Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, assembly, paint, pressing, testing, etc.)
*English – Fluent language abilities (written & spoken)
*Self-Learning skills
*Basic knowledge of OPC technologies, MES solutions and databases.
*Engineering degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical or IT
Work experience:
*Experience in automation/controls project management & execution – moderate to complex projects – 2+ years
*Experience in one or more related engineering areas: electrical, controls, computer, etc. – 2+ years
*Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases – 2+ years
*Experience in PLC, HMI and/or PC programming – 2+ years
