Role Summary/Purpose:
Essential Responsibilities: The Logistics Specialist provides direction and
assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role
you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to
issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or
short-term planning.
-Create-Follow up sales orders aligned with the quotations offered to the clients.
-Monitoring the equipment fabrication progress with engineering, sourcing and manufacturing in order to ensure contract fulfillment.
-Responsible for all aspects of contract management, including, development, specification compliance, customer communications and issue resolution.
-Coordinate and execute custom clearance of goods according DDP delivery requirements.
· Responsible for all parts order using us GE CS Demand Placement / Supply
Chain Management interface
· Lead all logistical activities, including purchasing, receiving, warehousing
and shipping
· Responsible for the repair department and complete repair process, which may
have international interaction with customers and suppliers
· Ensure operational excellence through all phases of material movement and
· Responsible for all financial inventory targets (INV, SMI, WIP) including
month end and quarter closing processes
· Meet customer schedules through advanced planning and expedite shipments if
· Responsible for inbound and outbound transportation, guide lined by the COE
logistics and the use of ILS
· Measure and control the transport costs
· Manage supplier relationship according the global repair contracts including
performance & quality metrics
· Initiate and drive projects to assure continuous improvement
· Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with both
internal & external customers and suppliers
Qualifications/Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience
in a logistics or planning role)
· Strong oral and written communications skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Fluent in Spanish and English
Knowledge of Pemex processes
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Desired Characteristics: · Familiarity with Oracle is preferred· Ability to
work with advanced information systems· Knowledge of GE products and services
is preferred· Six Sigma training is preferred
